叛逆的乖孩子

我曾經是個很乖的孩子
在學校總是功課名列前茅
也不是為了要討爸媽歡心
只是覺得讀書是件很容易很有成就感的事情

而我的人生幾乎就要在考上教職之後踏上一帆風順的路程
慶幸的是
小學實習完畢的我
在考台北市教師甄試的時候筆試差了一分
因此無法進入第二關口試
常常在想
如果當時就是多了這麼一分
那我應該也可以在第二關過關斬將
我的人生從此開始走向當老師的路程

然而就是差了這麼一分
我開始思考
當老師真的是我想要的嗎
不
實習的那一年我很不開心
帶我的實習老師對我非常好
但是整個小學的大環境讓我覺得快要窒息
實習老師們勾心鬥角
有人想利用教甄委員而跟其中一位委員交往
老老師們混一天是一天
不是明文規定自己份內的事就往外推

我知道這就是人性
但是就是不想在這樣的工作環境下過完我的大半輩子
於是我在因緣際會下出國
在美國拿到碩士學位
國外自由的風氣讓我感覺自己再也回不去祖國
包含多元成家電子商務教育文化新聞水平等等
台灣和歐美都有不小的落差

而且在國外
你可以勇敢地追求自己的夢想
不用怕被嘲笑被看輕
在台灣
有現實經濟的考量
有家人面子的考量
勇於追夢這件事
只適合極度瘋狂和極度勇敢的人

我想說的是
如果有一天在台灣生長的孩子
可以很有自己的想法
當叛逆的乖孩子
他們的爸爸媽媽可以支持這些孩子追求自己的夢想
想打球的打球
想寫作的寫作
想畫畫的畫畫
那麼台灣和其他國家的距離就不遠了
